Meet the Founder of Climate Prepare
Hello Climate Adapters,
I’m Mark Mastman. I founded Climate Prepare out of personal necessity.
I’m fascinated by physics, chemistry, and Earth sciences. In 1992, I was influenced by Al Gore’s book, “Earth in the Balance,” and I entered the climate change rabbit hole.
In 1995, I began helping businesses pioneer their internet strategies. And in 2008, I joined a government agency, doing strategic and business planning. This agency engages the UN, governments, and high carbon emitters, advocating for climate governance.
I realized that governments, NGOs, and businesses plan for climate change, but most families don’t. So, I learned to translate these complex concepts into an easy-to-understand system for families.
I’m now offering access to my climate resilience system to you. Let’s take this journey together!
I used to keep all these climate change moving parts in my head.
Once I started planning, I was able to organize my thoughts and make smarter decisions.
My ideas and resources are easily available, in the Climate Prepare cloud, like having a portable hard-drive of my mind. When my father passed away years ago, I wished I could access his ideas, but they were all lost when he left us.
So, with Climate Prepare, I can share my climate strategies with my family, even long after I’m gone.
